VaillantHeat Services & Support

From initial sizing consultation to long-term maintenance contracts, we support your heating system through every stage of its lifecycle.

How We Help

Whether you are specifying a new boiler plant or maintaining an existing installation, our engineers are here to simplify the process.

Consultation

System Sizing & Selection

Our application engineers perform heat loss calculations, review your fuel supply, and recommend the optimal boiler configuration for your building type and budget. Free of charge for qualifying projects.

Installation

Installation & Commissioning

Factory-certified installers handle mechanical setup, flue routing, gas/oil connections, and first-fire commissioning. Every installation includes combustion analysis and safety documentation.

Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance

Annual or semi-annual service contracts covering burner tuning, water treatment checks, safety valve testing, and heat exchanger cleaning. Extends equipment life and maintains peak efficiency.

Emergency

Emergency Repair

24/7 emergency callout service with guaranteed response times. Our technicians carry common replacement parts for on-site resolution of most boiler faults within a single visit.

Retrofit

Retrofit & Upgrade

Replace ageing atmospheric boilers with high-efficiency condensing systems. We manage the full retrofit scope including asbestos surveys, flue modifications, and control system integration.

Training

Technical Training

On-site or virtual training sessions for your maintenance team covering boiler operation, fault diagnosis, water treatment best practices, and BMS interface configuration.

Our Service Process

A transparent, step-by-step approach from initial enquiry to ongoing support. No surprises, no hidden costs.

VaillantHeat service engineer at work

1. Initial Consultation

Tell us about your building, current heating setup, and any specific challenges. We will assign an application engineer to your project.

2. Site Assessment

Our engineer visits your site (or reviews your drawings remotely) to perform heat loss calculations and assess fuel supply, flue routes, and plant room constraints.

3. Proposal & Quotation

You receive a detailed proposal including equipment selection, installation scope, timeline, and total project cost. We break down every line item so you can compare options.

4. Installation & Commissioning

Certified installers complete the mechanical and controls installation, followed by combustion testing, safety checks, and handover documentation.

5. Ongoing Support

Choose from our maintenance contract options for scheduled servicing, priority emergency response, and annual efficiency reports.

Commissioning & Performance Verification

Every VaillantHeat installation includes a documented commissioning protocol to verify the system meets its design performance before handover.

What We Test

  • Combustion analysis: Flue gas O2, CO, CO2, and NOx levels measured with a calibrated analyser (Testo 330 or equivalent) at 30%, 60%, and 100% burner load. Target: CO below 50 ppm, NOx below 56 mg/kWh (Class 6).
  • Thermal efficiency test: Input fuel energy versus measured heat output at steady state, calculated per EN 15502 methodology. We provide the recorded test data in the handover documentation.
  • Safety valve verification: Pressure relief valves tested at 110% of design pressure to confirm correct operation and reseating. Witnessed by a third-party inspector where required by local pressure vessel codes.
  • Controls integration check: BMS signal verification for start/stop, modulation, fault reporting, and cascade sequencing. BACnet or Modbus register mapping documented and supplied.

How You Can Verify

  • Free sample testing: For projects above 500 kW, we offer a 30-day monitored trial period with data logging of fuel consumption, heat output, and flue gas emissions. The data is available through our VH-Connect IoT portal or exported as CSV for your own analysis.
  • Application engineer consultation: Our engineers are available for on-site or video consultations to walk through system sizing calculations, explain test results, and answer technical questions before you commit to a purchase.
  • Reference site visits: We can arrange visits to comparable VaillantHeat installations in your region so you can speak directly with existing operators about real-world performance and service experience.
  • Third-party audit support: We cooperate with independent energy consultants and M&E firms who may audit our commissioning data as part of your procurement due diligence.

Our Service Commitment

Every VaillantHeat installation comes with a minimum 2-year warranty on parts and labour. Maintenance contract customers receive priority response within 4 hours for critical heating failures.
